This three-hour lecture and two-hour clinical course emphasizes the respiratory therapist role in management of hemodynamics to include placement of catheters to monitor CVP, PAP, and PCWP. Course content includes application of respiratory care protocols and their effects on blood flow and tissue oxygenation. Prerequisite: admission to the Associate Degree Respiratory Therapy program.
