CS 2253 - Computer Networking |
Three credit hour lecture course. This course is designed to provide the student with basic information and understanding about networking technologies including descriptions, specific terminology, the OSI model for networked communications, components of networks, analysis and design of computer networking systems, including security and management of networks. For each unit of credit, a minimum of three hours per week with one of the hours for class and two hours for studying/preparation outside of class is expected.
